How to get there: From the city centre, it takes only 20 minutes to get to Holmenkollenarea and Tryvann by car. From Ring Road 3, exit at Smestad and follow the signposts to Holmenkollen. From the city centre, there are signposts from Majorstua to Holmenkollen. The underground train nr.1 Holmenkollbanen, goes from the centre of Oslo and has three stops in Destination Holmenkollen: Holmenkollen, Voksenåsen and Frognerseteren.
