Cervinia - Breuil - Ski resort facts

Cervinia is one of the biggest and most beautiful ski resorts in italy. There are 200 km of slopes between Cervino and Monte Rosa. Cervinia is connected the Italian resort Valturnanche and to the Swiss resort Zermatt. The most beautiful slope is Ventina, which is 7 km long and goes through the glacier of Ventina. This slope goes down from Plateu Rosa and all the way to Cervinia. The slopes from Klein Matterhorn to Zermatt are also very panoramic, but easier than Ventina. The snow conditions are always good due to the high altitude of the lifts. In Cervinia you can ski even in summer. The lifts are quite new, and consist of 2 gondolas, 3 roofed chair-lifts and a couple of cableways.
