Valpelline - Ski resort facts

Situated in a valley where the Ollomont and Valpelline valleys meet, this very high and impressive, crowning mountain protects Valpelline from the wind: summer temperatures are mild, with a pleasant breeze, while winter is fairly harsh due to reduced heat gain. The cross-country ski slope at Valpelline (1000 m), with start and arrival points in the hamlet of Pravillair, is an internationally recognised resort which due to its characteristics is also able to meet the needs of both starters and more experiencedskiers.
